Dark mod, now crashes since i updated last version, and now all games that use id software engine crash, i can´t play quake 3, wolfenstein return to the castle, and most probably other id software games that i got. :nono:

Id software has been supporting the modding community for years. So what if you don't think the game is worth $5, their continued support of the modding community definitely IS worth $5. Their work and support made TDM possible in the first place.
Personally, I find your attitude offensive. You promote piracy on our forum yesterday, and again here today. If you aren't doing that, you're giving all the fan missions low scores.

I agree with NH Shadowhide. I asked you not to talk about pirating the software at TDM forums. Then you come over here to post the same crap in my thread here.
BTW, TTLG doesn't encourage pirating software either.
You do it fine, keep it to yourself. Don't use either forums to promote it.

Playing devils advocate here, but Doom 3 is normally $19.99. That's...like, alot of money. Alot. More than most people make in a week. Now I know some of you are ultra rich, and can throw around that amount of cash like it's nothing (I think all the Darkmod people own Macs, the snobs), but some of us have to scrimp and save just to afford the insulin shots for our babies.
I guess I could go out and sell some plasma. But you know what? I'm not gonna do that for you. I'M NOT GONNA DO THAT FOR YOU! So quit judging me! :mad:
Also, Doom 3 has gone up somewhat to $13.39 on Steam. That's even worse than $20, because it's such a damn tease! :doublemad:

Go ahead. Pirate it. No one can stop you. The point is, you shouldn't be stupid enough to talk about it on a public forum where piracy in general is frowned upon. Or even worse, try to justify it with halfassed lame excuses.
I say that if you enjoy the things that have come out of the engine, like the modding tools, and appreciate the fact that they eventually get around to releasing the source codes to all their old engines, then you should be kind enough to support the company with a measly $5. It doesn't matter that you didn't like the game. You liked the engine, and the things it's made possible. You derive enjoyment from said engine. They deserve your hard earned cash.
