Azaran, the "always run" mode is somewhere in setting, I forget where, but it's definitely in there somewhere. Play around with it, there's other cool, detailed settings that are nice which the original Thief games didn't have. Also, the health bar won't show up until you lose at least some health, and then it's directly under the visibility gem.

How do I flip pages after I frob a book? No matter what I do, the pages won't turn...

If the pages are turnable, the top corner of a page will be folded down. Click the fold and it will turn the page. Use the inventory cycle to turn the page. If there's no fold, then the pages aren't turnable.
What book in what FM is it?
If it's a new bug, then it hasn't been reported yet AFAIK.

It's the
Necromancer's spellbook in Flakebridge Monastery, which has a fold. Whenever I frob a book or scroll, there's no cursor. When I move the mouse, my body moves, that's all :(
