Anyone running dark mod on
windows 7 64 bit successfully? What workarounds and settings do you have?
For some reason my game has graphical corruption seconds after getting to main menu. Happens in vanilla doom 3 as well. Apparently it has to do with opengl, at least that's what I was reading about. I also tried disabling desktop composition, and that doesn't work.:nono:

Yes, and I didn't do anything with it. Only played the training mission on this OS but haven't encountered any problems. I'm with ATI HD5770 and newest Catalyst (and Win7-64).

Win7 64 vanilla here and working perfectly, though I had to turn of Catalyst AI as usual

My problem is not listed in the FAQ. I don't have an account at modetwo.
I've attached an image so you can see the problem.
Specs:
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
4 GB of RAM
ATI RADEON HD 4650, catalyst 10.9
I pulled down the console, that's what all the stuff at the top is.
UPDATE:
Well, apparently it has to do with Xfire. If I close down xfire, then it doesn't look like the image attached. So it's fine as long as xfire is closed.

I've been running in an XFire configuration (2x HD4870) without that problem. So it's not an inherent problem with XFire. I don't have a solution, unfortunately, but at least we can rule out XFire not working at all.

haha nice.;)

Strange...
Well after having posted, I fiddled with the xfire Doom 3 configuration through the xfire_games.ini, and determined it has to do with InGameFlags portion.. Which is what I thought. For some reason the settings in that were interfering with doom 3, and after I removed some things from there, I was still able to run xfire, and doom 3 was still able to look proper. Go figure.:weird:
The reason I know my issue was related to xfire was because as soon as I shut down xfire and loaded doom 3, it was fine, but if I loaded xfire back up it would look funky again.:o I also updated my catalyst drivers today to 10.12 and that didn't make any difference, so I knew it wasn't driver related.
