Thats why I didn't show the other one clearing. :erg: He may or may not be used. Its too Alien for TDM. We don't know if he'll be used or not. Haven't heard anything. Cythe does fabulous, wonderful work. TDM is soooo lucky to have him make that model. He may do more BUT, we don't know yet. Just having the Belcher back, is great. New and improved. They are working on the animations.
One thing, the original burrick was so endearing to a lot of people, this one looks more menacing, I won't have a problem taking care of him.

I was thinking about mentioning that, (since I'm one of those people) but I figured it's still good to have some kind of equivalent in TDM, even if a bit different.

Yup, I liked the Burrick and yet he was annoying at the same time. TDM should stand on its own, and it does of course. The Belcher should be different, yet I wouldn't mind at the same time having that endearing quality, personal preference. Either way, I'm happy just to be having a similar creature in the game when it looked like there might not be one at all. I did mention to the guys, maybe having his teeth toned down, he wouldn't look like he wanted to eat you from limb to limb. We'll see! I'm happy to have the Belcher, and can't wait to see him in game!

Doom 3 looked like plastic, but we don't have the same intensity of specular textures. Please show me some screen shots where
everything looks plastic? If you insist that everything looks like plastic, you can even turn off the rendering of specular textures, so that everything will be nice and dull looking. No shiny metal or shiny polished stone.
