Is there a way to desaturate colors in TDM FMs via Doom3 console commands?
It's just that generally the colours are way too saturated for my liking, the feature makes FMs look unrealistically flashy sometimes. I thought the same about Doom3 BTW (to see that clearly, compare average D3 and Stalker screenshots f.e.).
I know, it largely depends on author, but it seems there are objects/textures in the library that are too saturated for photorealistic look, and when they're used in one area it starts to look motley colour-wise. So I'd like to fix that by using some appropriate D3 variables if they exist, to make general picture look more natural or sole-coloured.

Here's a (
http://www.doomwadstation.com/doom3/console/) list of console commands. I don't think there's one for desaturating. But I'm sure it's possible. There's a mod for cell shading and rotoscoping. If it doesn't already exist, you or somebody might be able to put together a desaturate or even grey-scale mod, certainly when the renderer goes open-source if not now.

Doom 3 is 6.79 euros now on Steam, I'm going to buy it, and try The Dark Mod!

He is being worked on, no exact time frame, you'll see him when you see him in game. You can see he's coming along just fine. Thanks to Sy, (Cythe) on Black Cat games for making him!! Round of applause people! He's fabulous and dynamite! Coming to a FM near you! (To breath that nasty gas all over you, those teeth though, I dunno)

I definitely prefer where they're going to the concept art, which looks like an alien. Can't wait to meet those guys in game!
