I haven't tried out the Dark Mod yet because I've been trying to make myself wait until it was completed, however can't wait any longer.

How long is The Tears of St Lucia? An hrs playtime? More? Less? And it it a big hassle installing as I'm not very tech savvy?

Anyone been able to get saintlucia to run on 64bit ubuntu 9.04 ?
I have everything installed, doom3 itself runs fine, its the right patch but the mod doesnt come up at all.
rich@rich-desktop:~$ ./doom3 +seta com_allowConsole 1 +set fs_game saintlucia

Hi there,

I downloaded Thief's Den and Tears of St. Lucia and started playing these missions. I really, really love them! Actually, I have nothing to complain, except this bloom problem (good things the forums exist so I know there's a solution) ... The Dark Mod has a true Thief-like feeling.

I'm looking forward to try creating FMs...

The quality of screen shots varies quite a lot actually.

I've seen stuff that looks nice by itself but that looks pretty poor in comparison to some of the really gorgeous screens.

The best shots, imho, are not public atm though so there is that to look forward to when everything is released.

TDM Team: id will probably release Win7-compatible patches for its Tech4-games this year. What do you think about...to ask id to move some features from the game core into the game SDK and maybe to increase some constants important for your mod? I mean that you, guys, could implement, for example, 3Dc normal compression and JPEG2000 support, which could significally decrease mod size.

How long was T2X in development for, 5 years or something like that?

I'm imagining the release date for Thief 4 coinciding with the release for The Dark Mod, and Thief 4 having miserable sales because of it. I would laugh.
