I don't know exactly how it will be implemented - whether it makes any noise at all, but in principle it sounds cool to me. Does glass bound on one side make a shattering sound when broken?

I love how we're arguing about how realistic it is to have mossed glass make noise on shattering, considering this is a game series where we have arrows that make moss grow, magical glyphs and walking statues.

Ha ha, yes.
We seem to want to allow the unrealism of things we really like and reject it in everything else. For me its about a coherent and challenging gameworld and so long at it, err, sits alright with me that's all I can ask.

When I read that, I interpreted it as being that the moss arrows would attach to, and grow into the glass, thereby turning it into a moss carpet with glass in it, meaning when it breaks, the glass is held together as a mossy lump and doesn't tinkle on the ground.

Hopefully this would also cause the glass to block AI visibility.
Also hopefully, AIs would treat this as suspicious.

Liking the moss ideas.

Logically, they should also treat moss patches on the ground as suspicious. Gameplay-wise, not so much.

The info is in the original post:

added the ability to "moss" glass with moss arrows so that it can be broken quietly.
Moss can be attached to a window, not to break it, but to allow it to be broken, not silently, but quietly.

I find it funny when there are huge lumps of moss all over some expensive marble floor, like in the bank, and the guards don't say "WTF is all this moss doing here?"
Maybe we need an FM where the objective is to break into places just to put moss on the floor. The reason can be that guards will then think it's a normal occurrence and not necessarily linked to the disappearance of all the gold candlesticks and goblets.
