Sleeping AI do wake up in Thief, they just don't go back to sleep.
D'oh, you're right of course.
I even knew that. My brain wasn't working correctly, though I can say I was probably thinking of
guards who were knocked out than just servants who are sleeping. But also, as you just pointed out, they can't go back to sleep. So still, the AI in TDM in this case are a step up from the AI in thief in that regard. :P

Kinda intrigued by the lockpicking talk, any chance we can get a quick video demo of that?

Well, we're still working on tweaking/ finalizing how the system behaves. We don't want to post anything prior to that at the moment.

I'm not sure a video would be very interesting anyway. In *appearance*, it isn't that different than T2. :)

Hehe, that's true. :) It looks like Thief 1 and 2, but the big difference is that you're actually doing something behind the scenes.

That sounds perfect!

You have to DO the lock picking to experience it, not just watch it. Thats the difference. A video won't do it justice.

I think it's a pretty cool compromise between the two versions as it is, from just what I can only imagine.:D

I'm not sure I quite understand, but I'm sure that is ya'lls intention. Which is fine, I'll find out once the beta is out.
