I really like the rats. ("ambient AIs..." kind of like SHODAN?)
Also, the LEGO prefab system sounds rather promising.

I was referring to the guards being able to follow you through a whole Mission now, up and down elevators. There is no escape!!! :ebil:

Wow ! Elevators ! That´s impressive!
Will AI also climb vertical stairs ? And climb/drop down from ledges ?

All looks impressive; the AI customisability seems an especially alluring prospect.

As promised, a May update.
Very cool. The prefab system sounds fascinating. I've never been a big fan of creating FPS levels because it's such an awful lot of work, but if you can make the thing closer to the easiness of, say, Neverwinter Nights, it'd be cool. I'm not expecting it to be that easy, of course, but I hope it will be a lot easier to do stuff than on stock Doom3...
Just asking - will there be another demo before the beta release? Thief's Den with More Elevator Action? :) [Edit: Sorry, just read the previous page where no more alphas were promised. Oh well, the beta will probably rule :) ]

Do you mean ladders? Nope. Climb/drop from ledges/ Nope.
Those two issues require a LOT more work than getting the AI to use elevators, and that required a LOT of work on Greebo and Angua's part, bless them for figuring it out. They had to extend the AAS system (the system AI use for pathing, obstacle avoidance) in order to have AI be able to use movable platforms.

Thank god they won't be climbing ledges or ladders. I need to be safe somewhere. I've gotten too used to mocking alerted guards from high places.

What about objects? In T1/2 you can stand on a table and mock them (if the table is tall enough).

Depends how high. If you're within reach, they'll strike at you with a weapon...if you're out of reach, they'll spawn an object...say a rock, or bottle and throw it at you.
