I now put forth the completely unfounded rumor that the news will consist of another public alpha release. This release is the one where the tutu wearing, ninja servants have been implemented. They'll dazzle you with their amazing cartwheels and super damaging karate chop action.

I have to admit, I was far from excited for this mod, but this demo has changed my view of it completely. I also just found out that a certain old teacher of mine is on the mod team. :]

Sorry, no more alphas, that's a lot of work...but the news should definitely be of interest. :)

"within a year from now" - does that mean the end of 2008, or actually sometime early 2009?
Also, I can't get the AI video to work on google video for some reason. I saw the rat video though. Heh, gotta have the rats right? Nice.

No hard set day, although we were hoping for a Christmas 2008 release. Realistically, we will fully release the beta upon the masses when we feel it is stable and complete enough to be considered beta.
Until then, we still accept public applications for beta mapping access right now.
