The chances are good unless some new thing appears which everyone praises as the only true future.

Thanks I managed to get the demo working and it was worth it looks great after all your hard work lets hope it does not go the way of the T3 editor and no one uses it to make missions
There are a lot of reasons why hardly anybody uses the T3 editor. None of those reasons will apply to DarkRadiant. From all accounts, it really *is* "the only true future." (Unless by some miracle, the original LGS team gets back together. But that isn't going to happen. The Dark Mod is going to happen.)

YONTY, look in the basement.
If that is not sufficient enough, I can PM you with a better answer.;)

That's right, it has most of all far better public relations. :p

Okay, I was a total Thief-newbie when I first tried Thief's Den in January, and didn't really get that far. Now that I've actually gotten some rudimentary skills in the original games and beaten a level without any help from walkthroughs whatsoever (The Sword in T1), I decided to give this a whirl again. Waltzed right in and beat the level in no time. Amazing what a few bits of exercise can do to you. =)
I loved the graphics. The only thing that really bothered me was the sharp-edged shadows, but that's an engine limitation and all, no problem, it doesn't look that bad. I ran into some odd crumminesses, but I suppose those were just odd alpha bugs. (I ran into a weird bug state where Esc just seemed to be equivalent to quicksave and got a message in Doom 3 style about not being save when I'm not alive - duh, I was trying to load a saved game, obviously - but I couldn't replicate this at all...)
Aside of that, all I can say is wow, this looks really really amazing and I hope all the best for the developers. If this is just an alpha, the final version is going to be completely mind-blowing!
And it was fun! The guard on the front had a torch; no problem, an arrow through the neck and we're set. The guy's torch drops to the ground and goes out? Hmm, logically, will the water arrows work? Loaded earlier save and tried again. Shoot a water arrow, the guy's torch goes out - and he relighted it! Fun. I had a lot of fun looking through the house and loved finding the various items and the well-hidden sceptre too...

What bothered me most was that I wasn't able to blackjack anyone even after a lot of trials.

I can't wait for the next offering of game footage. I've been nothing but impressed with this team's efforts. Though I haven't been able to play the demo.

I just got round to playing theif's den this morning, I know its only a tech demo but the implications brought a massive smile to my face. You seem to have captured the feel of the LGS theif games in a way T3 never really did. I'm very excited about this mod now.

Thanks for the kind words, all. :) Glad you enjoyed our demo.
