Great posters, terrible fucking trailer. Looks like Nolan still hasn't figured out that Batman isn't all about explosions.
"Let's put a smile on that face" dear god they aren't even trying.
Having said all that, I find most trailers to be rubbish so the final product may yet pan out.
HOURS LATER EDIT:
A few good things about the trailer: visuals look quite a step up from the previous film, and the unveiling shot of Joker pretty much doing nothing more than licking his lips and quite possibly suppressing a burp is actually ace. I'm not entirely sure what I think of Ledger's interpretation of Joker as Daffy Duck with a Texan drawl, but we'll see.

Heh, I liked it. I hope the movie focuses as much on The Joker as the trailer does. Who gives a shit about Batman anyway?

It seems like they're being consistent across the movies anyway... at the very end Gordon talks about "escalation" and if anything, it looks like being a crime fighter is too much for Batman. The Clown Prince of Gotham seems to be ruling the city and Batman's playing catch-up, makes for an interesting dynamic.
The score and visuals combined give me a massive erection. Plus the now-dead 6-minute opener for The Dark Knight introduced a cold, calculating and brilliantly insane Joker who is above all else, a criminal, cemented in my mind that this movie will be all kinds of awesome. I especially love the voice and the laugh.

The voice has been likened to Richard Dreyfuss'.:D

Did I watch a different Batman Begins? The one I saw started with an hour of character development and gave us the most psychologically fleshed out Batman to ever grace cinemas.
Anyway, I don't have much to say about the trailer, it's nicely edited but pretty standard for action fare, except that Heath Ledger's Joker is a massive step up from Nicholson's. The six-minute heist footage on the other hand was excellent. I'll definitely park my ass in the seat on release day.

Yeah, I remembered bits of that argument, but how you get from Batman Begins sucked to Nolan thinks Batman is all about explosions is baffling. Stitch is usually not as wildly off base with his disses. Like it or not, Batman Begins is definitely not all explosions.

But given the way at least a third of it goes, it's easy to forget

I never said it is.

I agree with Stitch's assessment (I think). Posters are great, the trailer was so so. It looks solid but that's it. There wasn't that much to get excited about and the script snippets were really lame.
"People are dying..." Oh the humanity.
I enjoyed the first one, this one looks to be good despite the crappy lines used in it, but I can never ever forgive Nolan for missing the tripped out fight at the end of Batman Begins that could have been.
