For sure.

Wasn't he gagged too?

That's right, he couldn't form words, yet his vocal cords were clearly not cut, and we should've been able to at least hear his panicked breathing when fear, if not pain, began to override his defiant stoicism, perhaps. His thrashing in the chair...:eww: He took it all rather calmly. The Passion of Lau?
PG-13.
Oh wait, you must be baiting me.
It's all...part of the plan.:joke:

Recasting the Joker wouldn't be that far-fetched... I mean, in the comics, artists always draw their own takes of the characters, so it would almost kind of work in that sense (and of course Batman was played by three different actors in the first run of films, while in this new series Rachel was played by two different people). And seeing as how the Joker has no real self and is always changing, it would also fit in with the character. Though of course the actor would certainly have his work cut out for him following in Heath's footsteps.

I understand the speculation, but recasting Joker would be in spectacularly bad taste and they know it. Ledger made the role his own and it died with him.

Oh my.

Not even a close comparison. Brandon Lee's portrayal wasn't exactly defining the pop culture atmosphere and stirring Oscar talk

It's not true at all. They haven't even started WRITING the third film yet, let alone CASTING it.
