(
http://www.aintitcool.com/node/37214) First review of Dark Knight online (some spoilers - nothing HUGE)
Two things about that review worth commenting on (both spoilerish but very minor):
It feels like Heat except Batman is Al Pacino and The Joker is Robert De Niro and just like in that film we have a great scene between Heath Ledger and Christian Bale across a table.Really? I can't imagine how that'll work...
The scarecrow is in the film but has a very minor role.I <3 Continuity in a Franchise. :)
So psyched! :D
edit:Apparently there are questions over that review's authenticity... but not (

You can infer a
MAJOR SPOILER from this review though, be warned.

I think you mean Schumacher/Jones Two-Face. Not Burton/Jones.
Sorry. 2 and 3 kind of blur together in a dark blue horror that will only dissipate with repeated viewings of The Crow.

I'm not going to read those reviews Scots but what did they think of the film?

Awesome.

Saw it a couple of days ago. For me it was just OK. I thought the narrative lacked cohesion. Great action though. And Ledger does give a memorable performance.

A good move, but according to the reporters who claimed it was "the best movie they'd ever seen," I would seriously suggest watching something besides movies like the ring

Awesome.
After seeing on IMAX last night I can only conclude the same.

Soooo...
y'think 2 Face -is- dead? :(...I humbly thought he was almost up to par with Joker. Wouldn't mind the sequel to include him as the main baddie. Although I -DO- wonder what will they do with Joker, seeing how he doesn't -apparently- die (we can only assume that he was, in fact, incarcirated, unless some of you wants to get creative). Dammit Heath Ledger, why'd you go off an die?, pooh...
All in all. I loved it :)

Saw it today.
Oh.
My.
God.
I...
I...
I can only link you to (

fucking god.
When I saw Batman Begins I went home thinking, WOW that was a really good movie, best superhero movie ever!
But then, I still thought of it as a superhero movie, which it
was.
The Dark Knight, however... is so much
more than a simple superhero movie. It is pathos. It's a character drama of the finest order. It's...
...
You know, I've seen a lot of movies. Some good, some bad. Those who know me know that I like the more "literate" stuff, the honest stuff that's more about people than explosions. There are a very few movies that I would consider to be absolutely excellent- that would blow me away and I don't leave the theater or turn off the DVD player the same person I was before I saw the movie.
The Dark Knight is one of the best films I have ever seen in my life.
