We were discussing it at work and I suggested that instead of spending his money on drugs he could have given it to me and I would have kicked him in the nads. Same effect only he would be alive.

Seeing as you don't really know the cause no reason for his death I'd say I was assuming you're just being an ass for the hell of it but really there is no assumption is there?

I don't think this is drugs in the recreational sense, as it was first implied, or even much like a suicide, the initial claims of "pills everywhere" has been toned down in subsequent reports. Sadly, it sounds like it may be as Muz mused, a simple case of a burnt out guy taken the wrong dosage - apparently his most recent work on The Dark Knight left him in a very exhausted state and he was only getting a few hours sleep a night.

There are reports that it wasn`t overdosing at all, but pneumonia. We just have to wait til real news is given.

Someone told me "I heard someone died today, it was either Owen Wilson or Heath Ledger!", and so I was a little nervous.
Terrible thing to say, but I'm kinda glad it wasn't Owen.

Wow... seriously, WTF? I saw a video about this on the internet just a couple minutes ago. I first thought it was part of some sort of bizarre viral marketing campaign and was like - "Yeah, right". Then I saw the actual news articles. Damn.
I was too young to remember Brandon Lee's death, so this sort of thing is kind of new to me.

I have to agree with Aja though. I would be a tad more upset if it were Owen Wilson too.
