Also, as an aside, just read that Cillian Murphy's The Scarecrow will make an appearance in The Dark Knight, which is pretty awesome. I was hoping you wouldn't have that fade into obscurity mode for major villains but rather, attention is divided between a couple of psychopaths at the same time.

The (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/22/movies/23cnd-ledger.html?hp) NYT write-up gives more info about how he was found. Their portrayal is less "surrounded by pills" and more "possibly a genuine fluke".

My first thought was that he (that is, Ledger) had gotten into a cycle of uppers and downers (for sleep) and forgot which way he was going after a nap. Odd that I find that prefferable to suicide. Anyway, idle speculation.
