I don't think Muzman meant "how did he die?" so much as "what drove him to overdose on sleeping pills?"

Whatever it was after seeing the Batman footage I was already a convert to his Joker, whereas prior I was very cynical. Real shame.

Horrible news, terrible shame. It's so sad how many young stars abuse drugs. And yes, watching Heath's The Joker will make for a very bizarre cinema experience. I don't think I know of a situation (outside of The Crow) where a movie was released so soon after the death of one of its main actors.
Also, here's hoping that they didn't leave the door open for a Joker sequel...
