WHEEEE!! We all know this isn't a movie (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1403406#post1403406) for Stitch, so he can fuck off.
(
http://thedarkknight.warnerbros.com/) Teaser site has been released, a teaser trailer is apparently going to debut before the new Harry Potter flick.
This single image has been live online for a week or so, but only yesterday did it start to link to (
http://ibelieveinharveydent.warnerbros.com/) another site.
I like Aaron Eckhart, he was probably one of the only good things about the dreadful
The Black Dahlia, and what I've seen of
Thank You For Smoking I've liked his screen presence.
I'm fairly confident that they aren't going to start loading their movie with too many villains and basically focus on telling one main story, just as the Scarecrow was more of an accessory to Ra's al Ghul storyline. I'm hoping to hear rumours of Scarecrow still alive in the background (in perhaps the still criminally overrun Narrows?) as Batman hunts down the man who will eventually become the Joker (for those living in a cave, the part is being played by Heath Ledger), working with the excellently portrayed Lt Gordon. After that I imagine we'll have Two Face's creation near the end of the movie as a set-up for the next, but hopefully not in the same way that Spiderman 3 seems to have shoe-horned the
creation and dispatching of Venom onto Act 3 of that movie.
I loved the first movie, as I've often discussed (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1404431#post1404431) quite rabidly, and I've got high hopes for the sequel, despite the latest Nolan offering being less than stellar.

.... as Batman hunts down the man who will eventually become the Joker....
From what I've read, this won't be a Joker origin-story. He starts the movie as The Joker. He was already The Joker at the end of Batman Begins. His background will be alluded to but not explained.

In any case, I imagine it'll cover it off in some aspect - if he just appears already white and green, that'd be a bit out of sync with the way this Universe has been constructed so far. We've seen the origins of villains and Batman, so I'd be highly surprised if we're not treated to an origin relation of some fashion, be it in flashback form, overlaid over a monologue or some sort of strange intro sequence in the credits perhaps.

I'm out of the loop here - do we still get Christian Bale as Batman and Gary Oldman as Gordon?
I vote for Batman [EDIT]BEGINS[/EDIT]* as Greatest Superhero Movie EVAR (yeah Stich - fuck off). The Dark Knight will kick your ass! (also Best Comic Series EVAR).
*Oh fuck me...

I love the Long Halloween reference in that second URL.

I really liked The Prestige, yeah. Really well crafted, and some excellent acting.

Pah, anyone with a lick of sense knows that The Incredibles is the best superhero movie ever.

I definately cannot wait for the dark knight. I absolutly loved batman begins. The only thing that pisses me off is heath ledger playing the joker. He's a piece of shit.
