As the old saying goes, "TTLG. You've got someone in the ass."
Fixed.

TTLG certainly isnt what it was in 04 or what not, when everything was booming and IRC was the real place to be. ISFAIK #thief and the rest are pretty idle these days? Few times I've popped in there isnt much activity, and commchat is about the same I guess. People popping in from time to time, and if theres something fairly interesting going on it builds momentum, otherwise it stays quiet. But if you consider what activiy was, anywho, either loyal visitors start a thread with something that invites responce and debate, or some nobody makes a thread noone cares about and gets shit on for three pages.
So my suggestion would be to start some threads if you don't like the way it's slowed down. God knows which one of the two you'll be, though.

Stronts is MIA
I am? Why didn't anyone tell me?
[EDIT: 14 posts in the last week is not MIA under any definition. I'm confused :(]

hmm, so why did you change your unsightly handle after all this time, STD?

I personally enjoy the threads that are about people drawing pictures of thread titles or people reading individual posts in a weird or clever voice. Even better when like minded individuals post in a thread about a certain TV show or movie or music or game. I don't really care much for the is global warming real or my political party can beat up your political party threads, those are usually just exercises in making others look stupid.

Is it just me, or is there a lot less posting going on?
Seems to me this is what's happened. And it's kinda hard to find interesting topics here nowadays, too. Pictures of silly kittens, inside jokes, happy birthdays and tv show/movie discussions might be fun every now and then, but they aren't enough to give real substance to a forum. Also the Bush-bashing, Middle-East and terrorist talk have gotten a bit old.
Still, I would be sad if CommChat just curled up and died :(

It's the older members fault! Newer members don't post incase they get flammed by the older TTLG community!
Don't hurt me
