What's obviously called for is a return to silly-named clans and the quixotic partisan rivalries among them.
Oh, and font size manipulation. Thank you, fett.

TTLG is far from dead. It's still hip, happening, and bad as shit as far as I'm concerned.
I've been posting for, or at least lurking for, many and many-a year now. In all those years, I think I've seen at least 10 "is TTLG dead" threads pop up. So far, TTLG has not only survived, but has grown...prospered...and even grown to the point where they had to add a Bioshock forum to herd all the wannabe-cynical faux-intellectual I-Hate-Everything types into. This place is far from dead.
Edit: oh hellll yeah

This place is far from dead, but if there was timestamp on when these forums were literally bursting at the seams with awesomeness, for the life of me I can't get over the summer of 2004. It was just amazing, but that's when I personally connected with TTLG the most. But even recent events like the San Fran meet and the flurry of pre/post activity should remind everyone that lots of people are still around, but real-life etc get in the way of active posting (for some, lol).

I noticed the bioshock forum has really died down lately
wonder why
Scots Taffer on 6/11/2007 at 03:40
because the haters have expended the hate and the lovers have nothing to love
lulz

I see strong parallels between the fall of the BS forum coinciding with my departure and the fall of Bioshock coinciding with Andrew Ryan's
commchat, on the other hand, seems to function fairly well in my absence. Weird, i know.

As the old saying goes, "TTLG. Everything else is ass."

departure as in imminent departure or you've been away?
