Yeah, yeah, every single goddamn year people go "TTLG IS DYING THE GLORY DAYS ARE GONE", and sure, things have changed over time, but I've never really been bothered until now. Is it just me, or is there a lot less posting going on? A friend of mine spends their time on a lot of shitty forums, and I mentioned TTLG to her, and she checked it out and was like "Yeah, no one ever posts there". While obviously hyperbolic, it is odd - I certainly remember when topics would pop up so fast that I had no hope of keeping up, whereas now I can go many days without checking in and not miss anything. I dunno. Maybe we just need more political arguments or something. I suspect the problem is the one that was talked about a bit ago - namely, that the main page is dead, and so as old members leave nothing draws in new folks, and therefore the forum will slowly die. Le sigh.

I'M THE CAPTAIN HERE

We've had all the arguments, discussed all the topics. Thief Gen seems to have had an influx of newbies asking the same old questions, discussing the same old things and it's a bit dull tbh. There are people who frequent Comm Chat who have been here so long that I feel some ideas and stances are formed and solid. What is there to discuss anymore?

Eventually people just start to repeat themselves.

Eventually people just start to, I don't know, repeat themselves?

When was this? As far as I can tell TTLG has always been this slow-paced. That's the charm of it. Slow-paced but quick-witted.

If I ever get mine, you can be sure I'll start a new thread about that...
or a new sport.
