Haven't you figured out that you only make yourselves look bad by resorting to name calling? I might be upset if your opinions of me mattered. But, you can't seem to understand that insulting people is not the way to make them agree with you
hahah he doesnt want you to agree with him he just wants to insult you.

pavlovscat - You've got to realize that many on TTLG mix insults with debating.
Because they apparently don't know how to participate in a debate, very similar to the American politicians. Insults in a debate is a sign that you can't rationalize your point of view and have to belittle others to feel like you're accomplishing anything.

Not necessarily, they might be just evincing too clearly that they're complete idiots.

The funniest part is that at least one of those guys will probably be coming back in a bodybag or missing a limb.
ho ho oh :(
Anyway, Monkeysee has brought the sense so there's not much more to do here.

Insulting someone during a debate is not a sign that you are unable to rationalise your point of view; it is merely a sign that you hold whoever you are arguing with in contempt.
Not being able to rationalise your point of view is a sign that you are unable to rationalise your point of view. It's pretty easy to spot a weak argument and it doesn't take seeing someone say "you're a cunt" in order to do so; any more than it takes saying "you're a cunt" to make an argument weak in the first place.

OUCH! But you are correct. Most American politicians would certainly benefit from some debate training. Unfortunately, emotional response has become such a part of politics here, that it's now virtually inseperable. The emotional card is the easy cheap shot. Why work for understanding when you can more easily use offensive lables to rile up the general populus?

My head is about to explode from the irony.
It's a good thing that you don't fall for that sort of silly manipulation:
OH WAIT, FUCK, NO,
(http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1522537#post1522537) YOU DO! Ooops.
Keep the silly platitudes to yourself until you can walk the walk, mmmkay?

The true irony was that you didn't realize you were the target. Just because I don't necessarily see Kerry as a god among men, doesn't effect my opinion of other political problems. I've said more than once that the political system is broken. You don't seem to realize that I don't fall for your silly manipulation & name calling. And, of course, it is proven that you will rise to proclaim your intolerance of any opinion you don't share. Especially, if that person dares not to roll over & accept your vast wisdom (or lack thereof).
Thanks. You are too easy.
