I have a couple things nothing spectacular "YET"
I have Pants that give me +4 fatigue constant
I have an amulet that gives me +3 Health Constant
I have a Glass Tower shield with Frenzy, 5 seconds 40pts. I just use it really fast many times on someone until they go nuts (For my Morag Tong Quests)
I have a Saint Amulet that summons golden saint for 30 seconds.
I have an Amulet of Lightning that does 100 radius, 100/100 damage. Has bout 5 charges.
Those are my customs so far. I have a lot of good stuff that I haven't made yet. I just got a whole bunch of daedric weapons that I hope to enchant with some cool affects.. I just haven't decided yet and i do not want to rush a good enchantment ;)

Combo 1 (Effect and How To follow below): Boots of Blinding Speed: Light Armor 16, +200 Speed, +100 Blind on Self, Custom Amulet: Constant Effect Levitate 1, Water Breathing, Night Eye 40 something.
Combo 2 (Effect, How To v v v )Boots of Blinding Speed, Custom Amulet, Born a Breton, Something Hide of the something (sorry) Savior? Light Armor vest, 166, Resist Magicka 60%.
Ok, Effect . There are 2 versions of this, one before u get the vest from the Sadrith Mora Tower, the other once u have the vest, and are a Breton...hmm. Well, i started as one, so it works for me. Anyway, in the first version, u can fly. no great shakes there, as soon as i figured out that Levitate didn't just mean rising above the ground x feet and staying there, i started kidding myself that it was ::much:: faster to lag a frame at a time ::over:: town than just run thru it. But no, i mean ::really:: fly, like stunt biplanes fly, buzzing Nix Hounds and duking it out with Cliff Racers in midair (sight gag: Paralyze on a Cliff Racer). The Blind really did seem to hurt my attacks with weapons, but whether because of Blind being linked to weapons and therefore, no weapon, no blind, or whether because Hand to Hand was at 100, the same did not seem to be true when i used fisticuffs. At any rate, a quick right click leads to a solution of almost any problem in this game, and this is no exception. U won't be needing that 200 speed much during a Cliff Racer duel, so just take the boots off or put others on for the duration. Dunno whether ur normal Speed stat determines how fast u can levitate; i certainly didn't expect it to, and certainly not with a magic item that adds speed, but the Boots make u fly at an almost alarming rate of speed. They also actually actually darken the screen, as well as lower the light level, hence the Night Eye (i superstitiously imagine that Light, being a splattering of 'coherent light' all over the target (in this case, urself) would affect ur ability to Sneak, altho i don't know that for sure, anyone know? Not that u can Sneak while Levitating, worse luck)
Effect 2: Godlike Power. 35 mph easy over land, thru the air, and underwater. Extra Light, no Blind, just put the vest on first, and u will resist the Blind every time.
How To 1: I use amulets and rings almost exclusively now, they are instant (take no time to cast) use no magicka (and very little of their charge; if u find u r running low in battles, make a 2nd with the same effect, and switch halfway) and u can equip them by clicking on the spell they perform. Soul Trap seems to be among the cheapest to cast spells, probably because like Levitate, it has no magnitude, only duration. Expensive Amulets are very common, Expensive Rings weigh much less, but are less common. If u can find the Summon Scamp spell, get it, it is cheap to cast, and altho they are useless in combat, that's what u want as a Soul Trapper, especially as their souls are very weighty indeed, the same as, I believe, Bonewalkers. If you can't, or until u can, go with the Summon Skeleton from the mage in the back, downstairs, in the Balmora Mage's Guild. I highly recommend summoning soulgems from the Void (console); the supply is pretty weak til u hit the Corpus Cure quest, or go to that island (southwest of Sadrith Mora/Wolverine Hall, sorry all the Elven names blend into one for me. Did they make a list of Elvish consonants -ath, nel, esun, oth, etc- and randomly combine them? Neloth, Esunoth, Esunel, Athnel?) Console is activated with the tilde key, top left ~ command for making soulgems is
player->placeatpc "misc_soulgem_common" 13 0 0 0
. Of course, u can substitute "petty", "lesser", "greater", or "grand" for "common", and any number for 13, for the number of soulgems of that type u want. The underlines _ are shift plus dash - next to zero at top right of keyboard. Keep summoning skeletons, hitting them with single 20-second soultraps, or multiple (spellmaking customized) 30 second ones (yielding multiple souls, i guess u r just tapping into a small fraction of the being's power, not taking it's whole soul) and selling them to Enchanters til u can afford their admittedly extortionate services to enchant an or take up Enchanting urself. But let me disenchant u of the benefits of being ur own enchanter; barring stacking 20 intelligence potions, u will never, not even at 100 Enchanting, be able to make any rings or amulets better than Extravagant, ie 30 points of enchantment, and u will be hard pressed to make 40 point items such as armor. On the other hand, 30 points is more than adequate for most weapons, and a useful tool, but all the hours i spent going from one barrel to the next in caves, sticking 1-pt Absorb Health (near the top of the list, heheh) on Common Shoes to get to 100, shouldn't happen to a dog. So in the balance, i would recommend leaving it to the professionals, u can always take some of their wares, adjust the price, and sell them back for 120% of what u paid til u have all the money u spent on enchanting anyway if ur Mercantile is high enough and u place a heavy object on the left mouse button on the really big sales. U should be able to progress from casted Summon Spell plus casted Soul Trap to casted summon + common soultrap ring(s) to expensive summon rings + common soultrap rings or expensive soultrap/damage rings.
When u get enuf money to enchant a continuous effect on jewellery, somewhere between 30 and 40 thousand for the Exquisite (120 point) enchantment worthy of being continous, head to Ald Ruhn and poke around in the guard's quarters in the big northern building until u find a Hlervu amulet, they look nice, and there are enuf of them there to choke an Alit.
When u get a Grand Soul Gem, b4 or after Ald Ruhn, head either crosscountry south by southwest of Ald Ruhn or teleport from the mage's guild to Caldera and head west by northwest, ur destination is near the Blades Trainer something Horsemouth, somewhere around his yurt (? they were called 'benders' in the UK, for the bent split saplings that make the dome shaped -domoid?- frame, here i guess that is what u would go on if u had to spend too much time in one) A Redguard woman, more civil and capable in a fight than others that i have had the misfortune of escorting, wants u to get her to Maar Gan (pretty sure that's it, anyway, on the coast west by northwest of Caldera). In return she gives u the Boots of Blinding Speed. And if i am not mistaken, just north of Maar Gan on the coast (not Asknotifushudpipi, that's south) is a Daedric shrine with a Golden Saint, a Dremora, a Hunger, and an innocent bystander. Circle around and 'pull' them out one by one with ranged non-area damage, is my advice, and of course those juicy Soul Trap spells. Save ur game, of course, and make the Saint ur priority, either to soultrap first and then run, or to leave til last to be sure of getting the soul or the largest number of souls, depending on ur capabilities. She is the only critter bar Sixth House denizens i know of with that magic 400 point, 80 thousand gold soul u need for a continous enchantment. And if she is not there, then either I messed up and she spawns once u have killed the others and gone into the shrine and come out again (careful; there will be 3 again) or i messed up and it's a completely different shrine on the north coast or something (pretty sure it's not) or the game makes different spawns for different games, try killing all 3 enemies and going in the shrine and coming out. Anyway, it's a Golden Saint soul u need, or that of an Ascended Sleeper, or one of the named Sixth House Ascended Sleepers. 400 enchant points gets u 1pt of Levitate, Water Breathing just for kicks, is optional. U might want to save those points for additional Night Eye; i find 80 points to be too bright, but until u get the Something Hide of the Something/Savior Resist Magicka vest, or if u aren't a Breton, u may well find that suffering things to be a little too bright is better than suffering them being way too dark with the Boots on.
How To 2: How to Become a Breton:
Yeh, i guess i would have looked, too. But now that we are thinking of it, isn't it time that the least sexy race in the game got some recognition? One weapons bonus is nice, but who needs 5? Admittedly, I use predominantly rings as i said, and didn't Use My Illusion much when i ::was:: spellcasting, but it still seems like the Intelligent, Wise thing to do, Personalily, is to get spell bonuses. I tried High Elf but the thought of being afraid of kindling didnt appeal much.
Now, Teleport/Fly to Sadrith Mora/Wolverine Hall, and fly to the top floor of the Tower and u should be dylin' stylin' in ur, whatever it's called, vest, within the hour. Very close to Fellmouth, somewhere, u know, the head honcho guy. U can ignore what they say about a pass; i went the length and breadth of Sadrith Mora talking to everyone including guards and the Savathon Himself and not so much as a Halt Who Goes There. If u are unable to possess this or any other item unopposed, try the local Box Labeled Evidence after u have been nabbed. Heck, i suppose u could use it to lighten ur load on ur way somewhere; get arrested, and all ur ill-gotten gains teleport into that box, and i was usually about 20lbs of alchemy ingredients lighter, but that's just me.
o, and i imaginarily slap Myriad -smack- for using Fortify rather than Restore Health on that constant, and lol at the Frenzy Shield heeehee that's nice, very nice. I could tell by the little nervous twitch at the sides of their mouths as they said "You're pathetic" that i had leveled too high to taunt those Camonna Tong in Balmora into attacking me, but a version of ur splendid little spell machine should do the trick, thankin u kindly.

Sorry, tried to edit and repost earlier.
The Cuirass (but there is no cure for ur, nevermind) of the Savior's Hide, LIght Armor 166 Resist Magicka 60% is in the Tower of Tel Fyr, not Sadrith Mora. Tel Fyr is Southwest of Sadrith Mora, bout 1/2way to the mainland, and as they sell Common Soul Gems there, it might make a better 1st stop than a 3rd.
Pemenie is the Redguard female merchant u have to escort, to Gnaar Mok, not Maar Gan, same directions, just got the name wrong. Despite what everyone says about her, the Boots of Blinding Speed are a real find.
Might as well mention the other item here: Dragonbone Cuirass, Heavy Armor 333 Resist Fire 100%. Underwater complex southwest of Vivec City Temple, known as Lost Dwarven Outpost, pack some water breathing of some sort, find the key on the skeleton of an adventurer.
Both Cuirasses are mentioned in a book in Telumoma's library, along with many other artifacts. However, the Dragonbone Cuirass is described as having a Fire damage spell in it, so the other artifacts may not have the same abilities as are listed, or even exist.

Here's a list of my favorite stuff:
Weapons:
1. Death Claim- Daedric Longsword with Resore Health, Fire Damage and Lightning Damage embedded. Heals me as I kill others.
2. Hells Fury- Daedric Claymore with Fire, Frost and Lightning damage embedded. Spectacular when it hits.
3 Nagasaki and Hiroshima- matching Daedric Battle axes, both embedded with Poisonbloom and Fireball over a large area. Not to be used near freindlies but good in large group attacks. The poison and fire look like nuclear bombs going off. Great stuff.
Armor:
1. Popeye's Pauldrons and Cuirass- Daedric Cuirass and pauldrons embedded with constant effect Fortify Strength.
2. Nazareth Amulet- constant effect water walking and enhance Alchemy skill which allows me to turn water into wine too...ahahahahhahahahahah
3. Boots of the Apostle- Flying boots- I found these, didn't make em.
4. Highlander Helmet-Daedric helmet with constant effect of restore health. This is great for swimming long time under water too as it resotres my health faster than my drowning.
5. Gauntlet of the WWF- Daedric Gauntlet of fortify strength and hand to hand skill.
Those are my favorites but I have lots of other wacky curtom items.

Just how much fortify strength did you get on the pauldrons? Out of interest i tried it out earlier and found i could only enchant ONE point of constant effect fortify strength on a daedric pauldron. I was so annoyed at this i thought i better ask you how much you managed to enchant on your pauldrons just in case it's a bug or something...
NeoXro on 3/9/2002 at 18:13
well, i can tell you that it's not a bug :) pauldrons can't hold enchantment worth anything.
Cecidric on 18/11/2002 at 06:53
These were my prized enchanted items, but I had more...I made sure that everything that I was wearing had some sort of constant effect enchantment:sly:. Of course, this was before the game crashed in the middle of saving, rendering the save file useless:mad:.
Chaos: Daedric Tower Shield with constant effect 45% chameleon
Strength Ring: Exquisite Ring with constant effect Fortify Strength 24 pts
Lucky Charm: Exquisite Ring with constant effect Fortify Luck 24 pts
Necromancer's Amulet: Constant effect Fortify Intelligence 24 pts, resistance to normal weapons 25%, absorb magic 25 pts, and restore health 1 pt
Lifeline: Exquisite Skirt with constant effect restore health 2 pts
Curiass of the Savior's Hide: Constant effect 60% magic resistance

1. Constant Effect, 45pt, Night Eyes on my Glass Tower Shield. No more fumbling around in the dark.
2. 30 Secs Soul Trap on my Glass War Axe. Very useful for using up all those minor soul gems you acquire in your travels.
3. Various Fortify Strength on my Adamantium Armour.
4. Constant effect Bound Longbow on my longbow.
5. Constant effect Feather on my Glass head gear.
