A perfect example of why schools should have a uniform...
Have to say, while i am not making an argument for uniforms, in school i would have loved a uniform b/c it meant not having to think (even ever so slightly) about what to put on in the morning.
Not that i thought that much... whatever t-shirt was on top with jeans and green Rod Lavers was my typical uniform, but still.
Like i said though, i'm long gone from high school so i could care less about the uniforms at this point.

Your first post in this thread has like 600 words in it 200 words is nothing I think you'll be fine.
The "you can't buy alcohol but you can go to waaaaaaaaaar" thing is kind of retarded. First, any state in the US could have any drinking age it wants, it just cares more about highway money than it does about making it easier for it's teenagers to buy alcohol. (Canadian provinces set their own drinking age, right?) Second, it was already used as a reason to lower the voting age to 18, which is actually important when you can be drafted so there's kind of a high standard to meet in terms of when the "but you can join the army at 18" argument can be used effectively.
Write it about the effects of alcohol on sexual performance instead, it fits the shirt better.

I like my idea cause you can make it funny but it still puts drinking in a negative light so the teacher shouldn't have anything to complain about. You'll have to be able to say "vaginal lubrication" with a straight face to pull it off though.

Scratch that; I now support Starrfall's comment. Don't waste this opportunity.

I say vaginal lubrication all the time with a straight face.
Have I said too much?

Heh, idiotic. I love to live in a country, where they don't really care about this kind of stuff.

In your dreams the_grip. Having a uniform means you have to think about HOW to wear it. Sheesh. You think you just put it on? Cripes, if one did that you'd get a thrashing from a prefect for being gay (even though you ARE probably one of his mates' fags). You have to be individual in a sea of people wearing the same thing, but not SO individual that you'd get noticed for being an out and out rebel, nor stupidly flounting of rules lest you get the cane.
Easy? pfffft. And for the girls! Oh my...

As far as blazers in summers, that's just retarded.
But after attending schools both with and without uniforms, uniforms are so much easier, and take a lot of pressure of parents to supply their kids with designer clothes for school.
As far as girls at school go, I honestly preferred a single sex school as well, as it was a hell of a lot less stressful. It wasn't like you were completely deprived of the fairer sex, as the bus ride to and from school every day was mixed, but it did sort of provide an environment during the day that just allowed you to relax and hang out with your mates. Guys tend to act like real tools when girls are around as well.
