Good old Fidel would have been a better leader than your little Trumpet.

You're talking about someone who put gay men in concentration camps for the "crime" of being gay.
If I was ever inclined to seriously utter the phrase "check your privilege" this would be a great time to do so.

Trump would probably do that sort of decisions if he had the power.

Trump's been, at worst, neutral to the gay community. He's never voiced any negative opinions of them, and has already gone on record as stating that gay marriage is settled law as far as he's concerned. They're one group who doesn't have anything to worry about from him.
Now Mexicans and Muslims? That might be another story...

Trump selected the virulently anti-LGBT Pence as his running mate.

You know, I don't believe Trump himself is particularly racist. This isn't to say that I believe he has any particular care or concern of the plight of our minorities, rather that they're something of a non-issue to him. He doesn't care what race, color, people are, so long as he can work through them to gain a measure of personal success.
He doesn't harbor any misgivings about Muslims. They obviously don't bother him, considering he's struck a deal with The Kingdom to open up a new suite of golf courses and hotels bearing his name. But he knows that people are worried about the threat of radical Islam, and is willing to play that fear for his own ends.
He isn't concerned about illegal Mexican immigrants. They're cheap labor to him. Money saved. But he knows that people are worried about these illegal immigrants riding benefits on our tax dollars, and taking our jobs, and is willing to play on that fear for his own ends.
Black people don't bother him in the least. he doesn't particularly care about them one way or another. His discriminatory housing practices early in his career were probably fueled more by his fear of losing money than the color of someone's skin. It shows he's obviously opening to pandering to someone else's racism to make or save a buck or two, but I doubt he harbors any ill feelings himself.
Donald Trump isn't racist. He's a cynical opportunist, willing to do whatever he needs to do to achieve his goals. If this means stirring a pot of political and racial unrest, indirectly empowering a group of people who are actual, honest to god racists through his acts, then so be it. He wanted the White House. That's all that matters. His few honest attempts at it failed, so now he's taken to appealing to the our baser instincts, that lowest common denominator, to achieve his personal goal. Sure enough, it worked. He now has exactly what he wanted. The end justifies the means.
So don't say that Donald Trump hates group X or Y. He doesn't. Black, white, Mexican, American, Muslim, Christian, gay, straight. Whatever. They're either votes, or means to votes to him. It's that his hamfisted fearmongering populist approach to politics has poked a once silently seething beast, and now...here we are.

I don't really buy the snickering con-man narrative. He's too bad at hiding his dysfunctions and inconsistencies for me to believe that he isn't fooling himself.
