I'm sure I'm not the only one not knowing what to get loved ones for christmas, hence this thread.
My grand daughter is now eleven, and is becoming quite the gamer. She's already getting an Xbox from her mother, but wants a gaming headset to go with it. Now, I'm old and clearly past my prime, and I've lost touch with modern stuff, but I thought to myself, who better to ask for advice than a community of gamers? It could just be sort of entry level stuff, but decent enough quality, I'm looking to spend maybe £30-ish. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Also, please feel free to use this thread for your own questions, I'm sure we can all benefit from the advice of each other.

I'm thinking to get my nephews both Magic TG sets and teach them how to play, or at least the next time I can physically visit.
It's one of the greatest games ever, and they're at the age to learn it. I think it'd work in your case too.
It's good as a gift because a card game is more inherently social than most video games, and social in the way you're actually physically hanging out together in the same space.
Edit: I somehow missed the word "headset" in your post and just focused on the gaming part. Ah well...

Get her a pink headset with fuzzy cat ears like Ahri. :D:

Figure out which content creators (streamers, youtubers, etc.) she watches and try to find out if one of them uses an affordable headset.
"One just like <person I watch>" tends to be better received (from my understanding) than "Generic brand my grandparents found at a local store."

Although, much like Beats by Dre, they may well be marked up trash.

At her age image is more important than quality.

Thank you all for your input, a thingy has been ordered, delivered and wrapped.
It was not pink with fuzzy cat ears, although she would have loved that. But of course, her colour isn't pink, it's purple, very important distinction there. And yes, she's one of those little girls who wear cat ears to school every day. For some reason that's a thing now. Back in my day, you'd be laughed at so hard and then severely punched. Hmm, I guess society does progress, after all. Abe Simpson rant, etc.
:ahem:
Never mind, I took the collective advice. checked who her "influencers" were, turned it down by about 356% to a more reasonable level, filtered out some bullshit and.... well, just got a pair of fairly decent ones for £30. Funny how things converge.
