Y'know Dad, last time I checked I can't recall having a hard-on for Matt Damon. Generalise much?

No offence, but I'm with jtr. I couldn't make head nor tail of that post.

Parts of this thread rival some of the user comments on imdb, only; without that guy who lives at home with his mom but is convinced he is living the life of a samuari with box of kleenex and a well-thumbed copy of the Bushido and next to his bed.
Actually, no I see you there ¬¬
Ahem. Identity made great use of European locations which stopped it from being just another American action movie. There was a Ronin-esque quality to the Paris car chase, and the cracking pace of the film combined with John Powell's score made it pretty it damn watchable stuff. And Franka Potente FTW.
Supremacy I liked not so very much.
Slightly concerned that the atmosphere of the latest film will be marred by the fact that Bourne is no longer in Europe. And of course, Franka ain't in it. The shakey-cam stuff I've never found a problem.
Unfortunately for Matt Damon and chums, Die Hard 4 has already won my heart as action movie of the year, and I doubt very much it can beat it.

This film is apparently as globe hopping as the last. The closing scene of Supremacy, where Bourne arrives in New York, occurs more than half way into this one.

Who the fuck likes shakeycams? OH AWESOME HERE COMES ANOTHER FIGHT I CAN'T TELL WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON WHOO WAS THAT A LEG ITS LIKE IM
RIGHT HERE IN REAL LIFE WOAH IM HAVING A SEIZURE
People who enjoy shakeycams are probably responsible for 100% the gross income for "Who's your caddy"
I'm going to play devil's advocate here, I don't really like the shaky style myself either.
But I think directors are doing it to make fights (and car chases, shootouts etc.) seem more brutal and chaotic (see also the Normandy beach scenes in Saving Private Ryan). And the fights in the Bourne movie
are pretty brutal. Compare that to, say, most Jackie Chan movies, or Crouching Tigger Hidden Dragon, where you can see clearly what's going on most of the time. The fights in those movies look less rough and dangerous, more choreographed. In the Bourne movies it's clear that these guys are out to kill each other by any means necessary, in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon the characters seem to be just sparring.
