So does anyone know this :

I became the master of the theives guild; and then I went ahead and asked Gentleman Jim Stacey ( vivec ) about becoming the 'robin hood' of morrowind - bolagmar or something - I do the first quest , the hlervu locket in Ald Ruhn and I come back and hes gone !

And his little helper wont tell me where he went !

Is this supposed to happen ? - can I continue the bolag quests at all now ?

Nope, once you finish his normal quests you can't do the optional quests for him. Mainly cause he doesn't come back.

Going back to that Hlervu locket quest, I was wondering, why are there dozens of Hlervu lockets knocking around? Isn't it supposed to be a unique item?

also, you ain't missing much by not completing all the Bolag Mar quests

It's a bug, I think. In the GotY edition, I don't believe there are as many, but there might be. But be grateful! They're all exquisite amulets!
