I was under the impression that after defeating Dagoth Ur, the blight would be whiped off morrowind... but...

[SPOILER]I left Dagoth Ur, but the moment I got outside, I was in a windstorm... the red sky was still there, and apparently so was the blight...[/SPOILER]

Did I do something wrong... or something?
