So did anyone manage
to find out how to reach the upper parts of the factory where the balcony with the gas crystal and hammerite priest? Try to shoot balconies' barriers with rope arrow, they suprisingly made from wood. I don't recall that there is a gas arrow, but priest is and some other handy equipment.

so once you track the guy into the keeper's hideout and you get the objective that says find out more about them, do I still need to keep on tracking him? The guy is still moving around and I was thinking of just going around and exploring the area myself
No, you don't have to track him anymore once you've made it to the compound.
Actually you don't even need to track him at all. You just need to find the compound, even if it's by yourself, and there's no failure even if you lose him at the start.

So i decided to explore the are around the apartment and ran inot what i think is th priory marked in the map (big church looking thing with a guard sleeping at the entrance with a pamphlet from one Commissioner Fruntkins lying at his feet).
Is there a way to enter this thing. I saw some pipes above the entrace but don't know how to get there. I have entered some of the siderooms in this thing from my apartment using chains and ledges to grab some bits and ends of loot but there are no unlokcable rooms which lead into the building proper
.

gas arrow, it looks like it's only there in the lower difficulties. Recently played through the mission on Expert and didn't see it there.

What impressive, detailed, elaborated missions! Must have been a huge job to create. Thank you! Great adventures, really enjoying them.
Is there a way to liquidate the "little lady" in black (might be Gamall) in the forbidden library? I tried many ways, only the sword hurt her, but had not enough time for the attacks. Thanks.

the "little lady" in black (might be Gamall)With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed. Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created.

Just finished in 3 hours with 3095 out of 3145 loot. I didn't really have to search that well for loot, so much of it wasn't very hidden. This was another very enjoyable mission, but I won't rank it as high as the others in the campaign so far. My score is 7.5 out of 10. I also think this had some references to Deadly Shadows that I didn't catch, since I haven't played it. I saw some comments about Gamall, so I had to look her up. I am very impressed with the campaign's overarching story, and now it seems there is a real purpose for the last 4 missions (3 items and 1 black parade). Yes I peeked at the briefing for mission 7. ;) I was also right in my hunch that we will end up seeing/taking part in the downfall of DeWall.
Pros:
- Aesthetically this mission is gorgeous, probably the best looking so far. The keeper compound especially, but also the factory plaza with the fog had a highly pleasing aura about it.
- The plethora of readables. So much research and work has gone into creating these, and although most are not necessary to finish the mission, they add immensely to the worldbuilding.
- The new enemies in the restricted library were so cool that they elevated the mission several notches on their own. The girl/hag transformation was fantastic, and the statues with their incredible sounds literally made my jaw drop. I played around with them for a good 20 minutes and couldn't get enough.
Cons:
- There was something about the gameplay in this mission that just didn't catch me. I felt like I was just searching everywhere with no real purpose most of the time. Maybe partly because I found the harp before getting new objectives in the compound, I'm not sure. But overall, searching through the keeper rooms almost became a bit of a chore. Plus many of the rooms looked very similar. Some rooms with puzzles that you'd have to find clues to in some of the readables would've been a great way to break up the pace I think.
- The city portion seemed like it should have a lot more areas to visit, like Lord Porters or the Hammer Priory. Also, the factory I thought was underused and I expected a bigger complex based on the map and that huge plaza.
Don't get me wrong, this mission was in no way a letdown. When this good of a mission becomes the worst (relatively speaking) of the campaign, it really says more about the high average quality of the whole thing.

Having finished it now, meaning: I could read the spoilers, I agree with all what you said.
Some loot was cruelly placed, and hunting for the last pieces was NO fun at all. But after two f* weekends I accounted for all of it (well, for the coins on concealed window sill and the statuettes in manor I needed spoilers).
In the blind run, I left the compound with 1700ish loot, and I was actually quite proud of that, thinking I was clever. But: after scouring the town and still missing >500, I went back to it and I felt humbled (or should I say humiliated?) by how much I missed down there. I started shooting rope arrows at every piece of wood I could see, and, who knew?, they weren't placed just for show (should have known better). After more treks up-and-down, and the said spoilers, I finally achieved Perfect Supreme.
While doing the "optimised" Supreme run I encountered one issue late in the mission - the guy with the welding mask in the factory got stuck (fell off ledge) facing the purse on crate. So I had to restart, and decided to pick some pieces of loot while following the guy, including the said valuable, just in case that guys loses his foothold again. Finished in a bit over one hour, and w/o any Supreme busts as far as I could detect. I'll do (& record this time) one more run and double-check before maybe writing a report. Until then I must recover, though, the loot search was mentally taxing.
PS: and now I have a suspicion that one doesn't even have to close the guy closely.

This is the first thing I learned because I somehow thought he wouldn't walk by until a few minutes after the level started. So I explored the room a little and then waited by the bridge until he came through, only to realize after 6 or 7 minutes that he must have already gone by. I didn't worry about losing him after that. XD

Is this room with a chair stuck in the window accessible? It's next to the South East balcony of Demovand Manor.
