Finished with 2800... so close! Great to see the plot going somewhere, finally. I wouldn't have thought that the pre-heist part of the mission would consume so much time and be so enjoyable. This is really what sets TBP apart here: Attention to detail and a fully realized setup for every mission, before the main goal can actually be reached.
Based on the garden note I was expecting another huge undead monstrosity similar to Mission 4 but alas (or thank God?) there was none. :)

brilliant mission -- sometimes it feels like survivial horror to me ))
but there are still some moments that i don't understand:
1) what the story about this weird portraits in the mansion?
2) the pentagram with the idol has four elemental signs -- i shoot them with an appropriate arrows but nothing happend. what i am doing wrong?
3) there is a sealed room on the second floor of the masion -- ia there a way to get in?
4) what about the sealed double door in the basement -- i've tried to blow it wit the explosive but with no effect

My favourite mission so far.
Loved the atmosphere of suspense throughout.
Only managed 1934 loot though and there were a couple of places I couldn't get to:
The ladder behind the portcullis in the Apothecary shop - couldn't find an alternative route.
At the east end of the first city part, there is a garden with an NPC standing around and a wooden veranda that allows you to get into a couple of rooms. Above here is a flat roof with an open window. I never found out how to get up there. Presumably from the other side somehow.
I got stuck in the textures a couple of times whilst clambering around on the mansion roof - and that strange blue face that fires skulls at you, if you survive a fall in the sewers! What was that about?
finally, I never discovered what the pressure platesdid in the Apothecary's

Regarding the apothecary:
The pressure plates are a trap, which you probably disabled with the switch under the front desk before testing them, so you didn't see them function as a trap.
The area that leads to the ladder behind the portcullis is only accessible after you touch the idol. After you touch the idol, you'll see glyphs in the sewers that you couldn't see before. This ability is one of the "benefits" it mentions after you touch it. I couldn't find anything valuable in that area, but it's a... "nice" character detail for the apothecary.

Thanks, Twist.
I didn't really look closely in the sewers on my way back.

You can get in there from the other side.
Go from the wooden veranda through the Window and through the
portculli in the next room on the left wall. From there you can enter the other part of the city too.

There is also a ladder directly up that is not present on Expert.

Thanks, guys :thumb:.
Playing on expert, I had missed the secret door in the second room. I'd also been to the nearby outside area (in the sealed-off part of the city) and missed the rope-up point.
