I'm kind of mystified by the floating blue face at the very bottom of the sewers, I spotted it when I slipped and fell all the way down and died. With a bit of finagling I managed to find my way down there by dropping and bouncing off of the blue face, but once down there it just hurls skulls at me until I kill it, at which point it teleports me back up. I did spot a passageway behind one of the machines near where the teleport put me but haven't found a way back there yet, if it's even reachable and I don't even know if it has anything to do with what I found. I feel like I've done some stuff very much out of order here :erm:

This mission is the point where I say that the 7 year development was totally worth it. The story was definitely written by a master. Making the player believe this campaign is only a series of unconnected heists and then dropping a bomb - let alone a nuke - that scraps the main objective of the mission and leaves the protagonist "branded" was totally unexpected and flawlessly executed. I genuinely felt cheated, in a good way, that I sneaked all the way to the heart of the mission just to find out the harp doesn't even exist, and to add insult to injury, it's just a trap to lure the main character and the others before him to the manor. After touching the idol and seeing what happened I just wanted to get out of the sealed section, I didn't even care about the loot anymore, and I think Hume would have done the same.
Congratulations on the release of this mission. It must have been a nightmare to design with all the polygons needed to represent the sealed section as it is, dilapidated, dead and decaying.

Found it, thanks. I thought I was seeing one of the rooms I've already accessed when I looked down that open hatch, so I didn't bother climbing down there. Whoops.I thought the same! I looked all over and could not find the last painting. This comment helped me find it. Thanks!

Pass through here on your way back to start.
Well I'll be.
That explains a lot about the alchemist's place.

Finished on hard with
1792 loot out of like 3k., and pretty sure I was all over. Where the hell's that secret stash? lol
Amazing one, loved the
inclusion of the necromancersI just barely scraped by with the very last scrap of loot loot taking me over
the expert loot goal. My jaw dropped when I saw that
the maximum loot was over 3k. Maybe there's a ton of loot hidden behind
the magical wall in the bathroom with the symbol and the two braziers which I couldn't open?

Is there a purpose to the
magical symbol in the bathroom? Do I unlock anything with it?Maybe the
roughly 1.5k worth of loot I missed is behind it? :D
One thing which I totally forgot to do during my expert playthrough (but which did occur to me) was to
shoot the four elemental circles around the pentagram with fire, moss, water and... er... something which stands for air. Maybe the smoke bomb? Perhaps then
the symbol will open.

There is maximum around 300 loot in there because I found around 2700 already in the rest of the mission.
Instead of a smoke bomb just use the gas arrow;). But wouldn't we need the blood of a child to do the ritual?
