Mission 4 Completed in 3 hours 58 min (In Game Timer) Actual time was probably around 8 hours.
100% Loot & Pockets Picked, No getting spotted, No knockouts, Upgraded Sword Acquired even though I couldn't use it, was hoping it would reveal some loot as well. Final thing to find was the vase up on the shelf inside that first building with the 1 guy right at the start of the mission. Ran around for hours below.

All the maps have been really good so far, and I just had a great time exploring the catacombs. Just wanted to say how thankfull I am for the experience.

I have a fundamental question. Based on the context of some of the rooms I knew there were actions I should be taking but I was completely unaware of the existence of the undead sword, I had no idea to even be attempting it. Otherwise, I'm good on goals. Is there a clue to it's existence somewhere I missed that would have provided context? I've played all the Thief games and most of the mods. I don't look at walkthroughs until after I finish a mission, now I'm finding {well I'm not finding!) that I'm missing clues and the occasional passage, have had to turn up the gamma a few times, which I hate to do, ruins the immersion, the graphics are meant to be in shadow...Thanks!

I guess there's a plaque somewhere that I missed. I think I'll have to go back to the beginning to find it...

I have not read the spoilers in this thread, but I wanted you all to know that I have just found the
verbose message on a wall from Brother Alarus, last keeper of the holy forge, and I have no idea what it means, except for the references it contains to an
anti-undead sword, and I am VERY EXCITED. Surely that can't really be a thing, can it? Am I reading too much into this?

It may depend on exactly which room you're referring to, but I think it leads to a way out, but not the only way.
