Right after you enter the crypt. Just jump to the room on the other side. There is some food. Or you go to the den. There is probably food in there.

I am where it says "Aldrius" and I assume I need to get up there, but how do I do that?

Go to the south side of the room and climb up there, then turn west and so on. It's quite easy from there.
