Excellent campaign. I am at the top of the tower where Arzan is conducting his ritual and there is a basin that highlights. However I have nothing to interact with it. Did I miss something to pick up?
Update: I was completely oblivious to a room I forgot to look in and found it.

series complete on expert mission loot requirement on an early level, truly an amazing series, i cried when watching the credits, i also miss lady rowena, bbb, naks, etc, they all would have loved it so much
i can help darkone, before you use key you have to get the chemicals, then at top use key on thing behind you then slip in and add the chemicals to podium and hide

So Hume still dies to the brand/curse even after all the crap he went through to try and get rid of it? While Azaran stands, weakend and plans ruined but still. I absolutely loved the entire campaign, I'll replay it soon and try to properly ghost it, but I just can't help but feel a little disappointed with the ending.

To be fair, Azaran surviving was guaranteed by the fact you find his body in Thief 2. Hume dying was necessary because otherwise he would be a better pick for Viktoria than Garrett I suppose.

There goes to show how I haven't played the original games in quite a while, I completely forgot that Azaran was canon material lol. My bad on that one. Still feel pretty bad about Hume dying, got attached to him throughout his journey, especially after mission 8. So seeing him dying so pathetically in some dirty alleyway was a kick in the balls :(

That's a completely legitimate way to feel about the ending, it's tricky to have a 'bad' ending in a game where you did all the objectives and played everything right but the cards were still stacked against you. But yes, having Azaran show up as the villain halfway through the campaign is meant to foreshadow to players familiar with Thief 2 that, whatever happens, things probably aren't going to end too well for Hume.
Thank you so much for playing!

Especially thank you and everyone else involved for making this amazing campaign. Seriously, I can't praise it enough! Had a blast playing through it over the week, mission 8 probably being one of my favorites despite being more linear.

I get you,
yet somehow I expected as much since the beginning, it seemed to me that Hume was just this unlucky taffer never cautious enough about his connections, always trusting the wrong people and doing his work in a way that he would never make old bones (I mean every work he undertook for someone else than him feels like he is just a sucker expected to die). I surely hoped for a less grim ending, but it would have suprised me if he did, and it would have raised too much questions about his future and why we never saw or heard of him later on.
About Azaran I remember that he succeded in his endevour with the book of ash in T2 but without any real consequences to the world..he simply vanished into the void, and now with the events in The Black Parade, funny enough it feels like what he really did in T2 is close to killing himself if nothing else xD
