Oh yeah, John de Mol's latest pearl. On BNN, who also gave us 'Fucking goes like this' and 'Shooting and swallowing'. Winner has a 40% chance of getting cancer by the way :erg:
Made by idiots, made for idiots.

It's not a game show, and their goal was to get attention for this problem.
I'd say they've succeeded.
I agree that BNN sucks, though.

And attention we got, after the pedoparty we proudly present: even more insanity. Even if the makers have good intentions (which I doubt, even sms messeges a la big brother, disgusting), the people that will be watching it are no more then emotion-vultures looking for tears. This is just so wrong on so many levels, the end justifying the means won't do it for me here. Have you seen the movie 'Simon'? It's about someone getting cancer who goes for euthanesia, it's a comedy but at least it's in good taste. This however, :tsktsk:

It's easy to scoff at television producers who "exploit" the desperation of those needing organ transplants in the name of entertainment, but surely the really tastless aspect is that there's so many people desperate for organs in the first place?
If Dutch people don't want to see programmes like this, then they should become organ donors. I can't help feeling 90% of the backlash against this show stems from feelings of guilt.

Can't help feeling that deMol would have done the great holocaust survivalshow if he lived a few decades back. We don't like it because it's sick, and our trackrecord is sad enough as it is. Do consider that this is the guy that did Big Brother and the Golden Cage, this guy cares for sensationalist televion, he's a train without a brake.

In after Godwin's law kicked in.

More like Pavlov, holocaust references don't necesarily have to be folded in Godwins warm embrace you know. In this case at least but fire away.

So who's got an organ donation acceptance in their purse?
(That's the way it works here, and yeah I have one.)

Every time I read the news about such... 'shows' I ask: When do we finally have entertainment like 'Climb for money' (Running Man) - then we made it. :nono:
