be? The battle itself is muddled. The falling body pit must presumably be some sort of warp parallel, but isn't given any such indication. Too much mist instead of background. The banshees get a big lead in and don't even fight. The Wraithknight doesn't act like it's even trying to account for being outnumbered. I get the whole marines praying before a battle thing, but then they keep doing it while being shot at and apparently even charged and slaughtered, which isn't exactly a codex astartes doctrine, to put it mildly.

I thought it was pretty clear the entire thing was the spehss marine's dying dream. The whole surreal wash of it was the final faint pulses of neural activity in his brain as the lights went out.

The second one really got me pumped for the game. Shame Capcom stopped making games in this series, as I absolutely loved it. These games are right up there with Devil May Cry. The first 2 games in particular are outstanding. Some of the best sword/melee combat in a game up until the Souls series.
