It looks like 'the cats ass' because it
is OSX. The Windows toolbar is a Windows 2000 Virtual Machine running under (
http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/) Parallels in Coherence mode, which removes the Windows desktop and allows you to use the two operating systems at once (including drag and drop between the two).
I work for a Mac-using Design Studio, however I need to use Visual Studio 2005 for some Windows programming, so Parallels allows me to do this without rebooting into Windows via Boot Camp.
I sound like an advert, but it is goddamn awesome.
