I noticed another thing, too. The less number of people getting around me, the more I sense the presense of people I chat with at TTLG... So I may say this late evening we are going to have some privacy again. So much for a point. :p

My computer is in the living room with the tv. Sometimes I'll turn off the tv and the lights and sit in the dark looking and listening. All that's on is the computer humming quietly and various LED's on various devices. It's pretty cool for a few minutes but what's also nice is to take a walk alone and listen to the various bugs of the evening. They're pretty noisy if you can find a place without cars and people. I get the same kind of feeling from that as I do the previous computer scenario. You're alone but not all alone. You can witness this teeming existence without the existence much caring or acknowledging that you're there. It's a Thiefy feeling.
