See?!

This is one football world cup where New Zealand getting knocked out in the quarters or semis by France would not prompt morbidly amusing navel gazing, mass depression and gloom.

There are a few fantasy cups available for the Word Cup. I'd like to find one with the best features and the most number of players.
Foe example Fox Sports Australia is going to have one ( (
http://footballworldcupfantasy.foxsports.com.au/)) but I doubt many players will join it.
Is FIFA going to have an official one?

That's okay, next year will more than make up for it on the whining and "but the team was poisoned!" fronts.

I'm just glad Medlar is actually posting again.

At least the All Blacks actually manage to play something vaguely resembling positive rugby, it's a rarity these days.
As far as the other more "foot-on-ball" football, I'll be cheering like mad for the Aussies, but it's hard to hold out much hope for the team when we lack any sort of talent in our forward line.

Ok guys, FIFA has opened its official fantasy league for the world cup. I'm going to start a league there, unless you prefer to do it yourself, Medlar?
Medlar on 21/5/2010 at 18:05
Go for it Haplo, but don't post the code otherwise we will get unwelcome guests.
SubJeff on 21/5/2010 at 20:49

Let's do it!
