I'm near the end and want to turn in the last of my fingers. And I can't find the chicken sheriff anywhere.
I even went back to a really early save point to follow her and I found the path she takes. But she's nowhere to be seen. I'm wondering if she just runs randomly and not the same path every time. But she hasn't come back. Anyone know anywhere she runs? A location she typically stops at? Anything?

Umm... which Fallout are you talking about?

I suspect he's talking about Fallout 3. Sonora Cruz has a habit of disappearing, usually because a radscorpion or other enemy likes to spawn right outside Regulator HQ.
If he's playing the PC version, he can open the console, type:
prid 0006f212
and then type
moveto player
which will bring Cruz back. Obviously he may want to do this inside the building after killing the local mutants out front.

correctamundo, it is Cruz that went missing.
thanks deth. unfortunately it's a ps3 version :P
ah well. So she actually disappears? or does she actually run across the map to distant places? I had gotten really good at following her. For a time she would always be standing in one particular area and I'd consistently find her there. I THINK I've found that area again. But she's just nowhere in sight. From my saves last time she was actually still by the shack, I was level 17 or so. I'm level 20 now and at the final quest. Just wantedx to turn in these dumbe fingers. :P Just kinda complete everything. Ugh those scorpions really suck :) I have to leave my dog back home or else he gets neutered .

That person isn't a sheriff. Lucas Simms is the sheriff in Fallout 3.

Well, anyone who'd actually buy the console version of a Bethesda game in the first place I wouldn't exactly trust to get a character's job title right anyway.

*shrug* it was like 5 bucks and I like that stuff on the big screen but I see your point. So do you guys do anything else except troll around here? :)
june gloom on 2/4/2013 at 09:04
We do not troll.
EvaUnit02 on 8/4/2013 at 06:36
It's not trolling, it's common sense based on experience. Bethesda have always been known for buggy games with game breaking bugs. So you should buy the version with the most workarounds for potential bugs. I.e. the PC version has fan patches via modders and the command console with many useful troubleshooting options.

yeah I know. :(
But what's done is done. I just wondered if anyone had any clue if Senora takes the same path everytime or not. THere's a chance MAYBE she's still out there somewhere. And I don't know what the event was that caused her to permarunaway. Happened around level 18.
