im sure alot of people that have come to the cross road of upgading there PC's have found that they have alot of trouble geting thief to run.. i know that there is a thief dvd collection out now for 49.99$ and say's windows XP supported... all three games on one new dvd.. what makes me wonder is have they messed with the originals to get them to run better on curant hardware?
also we need to find a way to keep thief running.. im haveing a harder time rate now then ever running thief 2.. wouldnt open. yes ive been threw all of the walk threws. i just upgraded my hardware and see what happens. thief doesnt work lol.

Biker's right, between DDFix and the widescreen patch, there's no reason not to be able to play T1/T2 on any modern PC.

I don't think we should worry too much. For old Dos games, there's DosBox, made by people who want to be able to run old games and programs. I think that, once Windows XP (and all systems prior to Vista) are basically history, someone will make a WinBox emulator. No reason why not to think so.
