If you figured out the riddle(you asked that guy and he told you) look in your Journal, he said that it is north, south, east or something of a dwarwen/daedric ruin/shrine. Look at your map, that place is marked on ur map now

before i go on with the main quest, i want to know if i can still do house and guild quests because the council said they will start to hate u and does the game end once ur done with the main quest?

Some guilds and factions stop trusting you... only one I can think of is the temple... but after you complete the main quest, all the factions will like you again, for the most part.
