Oh come on. The Irish are an ethnic group as much as Germans are.
I know its become a little hazy over the other side of the pond but in Europe, and especially the UK, they definitely are and its even reflected in ethnic monitoring and discrimination law.

Orgy may be Irish but just because he doesn't share Macha's point of view doesn't render it irrelevant - especially seeing as a number of the crap failings he attributes to the Republic of Ireland are plaguing the UK also.
That said, Macha has quite clearly red mist raged through this entire latter page or so. Quite unbecoming, old boy.
And let's be clear, calling someone a "Mick" in a dismissive fashion in the middle of a discussion and telling them to go drink a Jamesons is hardly very different from telling a "Spic" to go have a cerveza or a "Wog" to go have an espresso.

Possibly, but it's not something I'm trying not to get into to save myself the possibility of raging all over Macha's lovely little posts. Suffice to say he and I do not share the same views and leave it at that?
