When I was a frisky 20 something, I drank damn near anything in massive quantities and couldn't pass up a line of prime coke. Now, I've mellowed. I like a variety of beers, good single malts, port & various wines. Nothing gives me that warm happy feeling like a pleasant night on the back patio drinking scotch & smoking cigars with my hubby. At Christmas time, I do love a big Cajun Eggnog Daiquiri. Oh yeah...can't forget my Rumpleminze!!

I once drove in a Russian Volga fueled by vodka as a substitute for gas.
Anyway, music, beer, rarely weed. Less rarely Gin Tonic. Are girls a controlled substance? Tried ecstasy, speed and cocaine. Good stuff but I'm too poor and lame to become the cocaine vacuuming superstar I actually am. :(

On Bundaberg, we had a blind rum tasting at a University course this year, and for some reason decided to include Bundy amongst some very nice carribean dark rums. The one descriptor that popped up most was vomit. Also, good vodka is definately supposed to be as odour free as possible. They distill and filter it to remove most of the volatile aroma compounds and higher alcohols that make up the smell of booze. Basically all you should smell is ethanol. That said I don't drink coke or anything similar so for spirits it's either straight or not at all, and I'm way too much a fucking pussy, so I stick to wine and beer. Lots of wine.
