That new bow... - by Hewer

I had the idea a few years ago that instinctive aiming could have been implemented by (subtly) blurring the screen except for the current target of the arrow. That's some way of simulating how an archer would focus (pun intended) on his target without a sight. Shooting completely instinctive has the benefit of being less worried about different distances and angles. Plus, it's probably historical, too.

My bf has booked me on an archery course for beginners this summer. I have no idea whether I'll enjoy it or not, but he's treating me nonetheless.
I could be amazing... or I could suck at it. :laff:

Can't really suck if you're a beginner. :) If you sucked at it after years of daily practice, then you may criticize yourself to oblivion!

I meant I might not have a natural ability to become good at it. Whenever we try out new things we want to excel; but it doesn't always turn out that way.

From my opinion diligent training almost always matters more than "talent" in the broadest sense. We have a guy in our historical fencing club for almost two years now and despite being quite a "movement dyslexic" (how my oldest coach called these people), he got hooked and improves constantly.

That is very encouraging. :)

There's hardly a square inch of him that isn't covered with snaps and straps and flaps and hooks and stitching.
The NuGarret is X-Treme dude!
He drinks Redbull and hangs out with Lil Hammerite Daddy.
Maybe its the Japanese influence.
It seems like eidos montreal are basically a western(ish) arm of sqeenix.
Garret has been final fantasy'd.

Omg that's sooo sad. Final Fantasy'd with a touch of B&D. As far as the bow is concerned, I think the Nudesign is just overkill (just like NuGarrett's NuLook). Why does EM continue to try to fix what isn't broken? Nevermind; already know the answer to that one.

We need a hippity hop version of Garrett so he could go all gangsta with the bow and get bitches and money. A code should be written for him to randomly throw gang signs at guards that spot him in an effort to deter combat. Or encourage it, actually. I dunno, that could go either way.

I'm fine with it as long as its gangsta.
Hopefully NuGarret can get a gold plated upgrayyed at some point.
And Diamonds dude!
Diamonds!
(Or at least cubic zirconias.)
