Thanks to all for the thread ref DD fix seems straight forward ? I have been putting off an upgrade because I did not think I was capable but the other thing worrying me is dual/quad core is there a simple way for this also what modern graphics card am I least likely to have problems with regards Thief THANKS

The question . well I want to upgrade and still play Thief , I think the DD fix has been explained thank you now I worry about dual/quad core and how easy it is to turn off which I think is what you have to do and what modern graphic card is best to work with Thief and the Dark Mod . Yonty

Thanks Biker UK ,at present FX 5200 card, AMD 1.6 athlon ,32 HDD, budget about £300 I will use my old dvd and hopefully case which is not that old Yonty

BIKER Do not know, dvd writer case about 1 year old mother board I want new together with graphic, card hdd , and cpu and memory if I have to spend more so be it YONTY
