Slight spoiler alert.
I can't see much when underwater, and am at the point in The Maw where you need to progress past the waterfall/waterways section. I just can't do it. I end up looking at a sea of grey and listening to myself drown while pressing random movement keys hoping I will fluke upon an airhole or surface. So anyway I was wondering if anyone could help with the following.
1) A save from just after the water section. OR
2) A "Fly" or "Big Jump" cheat so I could just fly/jump straight up to the entrance of that blue tube thing. OR
3) A Godmode cheat.
I gather that you can do some of this in dromed but not sure if that would allow me to import a save, get past the water, save in dromed then use that save back in regular TG? Hopefully there is a simpler way :)

not being able to see in water would indicate a graphics problem. screenshots?

Do have an old NVIDIA video card?
I remember having problems with this years ago. Equip your blackjack under water, that should help. I don't know why.

I have no doubt the graphics are working correctly, it's my eyes - they don't do too well with low contrast or foggy images.
Did try dromed but it wouldn't import any of my saves. So unless if someone can suggest a non-dromed fly or jump cheat, or better still, a method to turn off underwater fogging, then I think I'll call it a day on TG. Pity, as I would have liked to Iron Man all missions.
Did try the blackjack tip BTW but it made no difference, but thanks anyway.

You can always try stacking objects against the blue tube with spikes, mantle on it and skip the whole water area. There are 4 healing fruits in the ice room before it, which is enough.

In Dromed the command to import a save is edit_load_game saves/filename.sav and once in game, you can save once you get through this part and then it should load up fine from the game .exe so you can continue.

Yandros, that is what I tried but it kept giving me errors then crashing if I selected ignore or yes to "trap" something or other.
skacky, I did try the fruit trick but couldn't pull it off. Even with the note and four fruits I still couldn't get the mantle.
BUT, I did find a solution. On a whim I installed a new instance of GoG TG without installing any further mods, and hey presto, underwater became so much clearer. I could now see my way around it much better, and was able to traverse the water sections.
Just for curiosity I did try afterwards installing the T2 water mod that comes with TFix, and that did seem to introduce some extra "murk" and it now became more difficult for me to see underwater. Then the HDMod increases this "murk" factor even further. I of course had been using both these mods in my main playthrough.
Also tried just the necroage pack without anyother mods and that too seemed to reduce underwater visibility.
Not sure what the explanation is, and am sure that to most people any changes these mods make to underwater visibility would present no real difficulty, but anyway my problem is solved, I have now completed this playthrough of TG and am happy. Thanks for the responses.
