hello,
i'm having trouble with garretloader not playing thief gold fan missions.
i can install all of them with no trouble, however when i try to play one after a few seconds it will tell me there is a problem.
i have all scripts and everything else installed and i can run everthing else except for the TG originals.
please help.

listing your pc specs and posting a screenshot of the error would help people diagnose your problem.

A better description of the error would help us. Have you optimized your Thief Gold install with GarrettLoader?. I don't have it on this computer so I can't open it for reference to tell you what menu it is in.

in the bottom righthand corner there are four options of which one of them are install. so i click on that and installs. then i press play among among the four options and the screen will go black like it always does when starting up. while it is starting up i can here the background noises for the main menu. but instead after 7 to 15 seconds it will return to garret loader and tell me there was a problem and it is trying to find a solution. i have tried half the the rest of the missions and they won't work either.

What version of GarrettLoader are you using?
Do the original Thief Gold missions run fine?
On the problem dialog does it give you any other options to look at extended information?
Again, did you try optimizing your Thief Gold install? I believe it's under one of the menus.

Try using an updated version of GarrettLoader. Does it tell you that GarrettLoader has encountered a problem or Thief.exe? I don't have Windows 7 so I don't know how to get extended error information. More info on the crash would help. I will look into how to get it later.

What location did you install the game into? On Windows 7 I believe there are issues if you put it into C:\Program Files (x86). Try installing it into another location like C:\ThiefG if you haven't already.
What happens when you try it without ddfix installed? What version of ddfix are you using? Do you have a dual core fix or are you relying on ddfix for that?
Update: Go (
http://www.dkszone.net/view-computer-reliability-problem-history-windows-7) here and follow the instructions to open Reliability Monitor. You should find at least one entry called thief.exe there. Click on view technical details and post the information found there.
