Yeah, I already had that standing in line after this one, but didn't know it was also a Newdark-update of Widow's Ire. Currently replaying already to see the differences. :p

The one on DarkFate seems to work.

That works, thanks!
Wonder why the file is so much smaller...

I loved the first mission, StinkyKitty. such a wonderful Thief 1 feeling. I played it twice because I missed some loot and enjoyed it both times.
It appears that The Widow's Ire was updated and with two additional missions.

Could someone edit the original post to link to the updated Widow's Ire?
By the way, if you have trouble with darkloader/garretloader, don't forget, there is a fan mission selector for Thief Gold.

In the directory where you installed Thief, find a file called "cam_mod.ini." Open it up. Right below the line where it says "always start the FM selector", remove the semicolon in front of ;fm, then save the file. The FM selector will now start up whenever you start Thief.

Tried to ironman this on my first playthrough. Got insta-killed by a random mine in a dark corner in The Valley of the Burned after 19 minutes and 47 seconds of playtime. A bit frustrating to go out like this, but I will retry the mission, saving my progress this time.

I mean you got killed by something in the exact way that it's supposed to be used.
Not implying you were casting blame, Just thought it deserved pointing out.

Finished both missions on Normal now: The Valley of the Burned in 55 minutes with 1300 of 2785 total loot, The Widow's Ire in 44 minutes with 1589 of 2099 total loot. I reloaded often, so you can add around an hour to the total playtime. Both missions had an atmosphere of desolation and emptiness that reminded me somewhat of missions by JIS, especially the otherworldly ruins in The Widow's Ire. There were parts in which I felt lost and overwhelmed by the size of the map. I had no idea if I was going in the right direction. The mission just went on and on. One very cool bit is that the end of the second mission loops back to the valley and the mines at the start of the first mission. That was a great idea. The gigantic heart at the very end is also impressive, even though I had not come across a book that explained why it was there.
